Drexel in Dublin + London: Dual City Summer

world map

Program Overview

The Dublin+London program is Drexel's first dual city study abroad program that allows Drexel students to experience two European cities in one term! Through this unique opportunity, students spend 5 weeks in Dublin and 5 weeks in London, taking 2 courses in each city for a total of 18 credits. The Dublin+London program is open to all majors and offered during summer term only. The program is run in partnership with the Foundation for International Education (FIE). Student participants will be from Drexel and other American universities, for a great mix of backgrounds and perspectives.
Orientation: Students will be greeted in both cities by local support staff for orientation, which includes tours, a welcome dinner and other activities. A group flight will be organized to London at the end of Dublin summer session 1.

Dublin
With a young and vibrant population of over one million, Dublin has enjoyed considerable economic growth in the last decade. While Dublin may be a city on the move, the charm, culture and heritage of old Dublin is still apparent everywhere. Dublin Events Blog
Campus: FIE has teamed up with the Dublin Business School (DBS) in order to utilize their on-site instructors, housing accommodations, classrooms, and campus resources. Classes will be held at DBS which is located in the heart of the city just a few minutes stroll from St. Stephens Green, Grafton Street, Trinity College and the Temple Bar district.

London
London is undoubtedly one of the world's greatest cultural and economic centers and has been dubbed as the "coolest city in the world". The rich history combined with contemporary and multicultural dynamics of the city offer a perfect backdrop for study abroad!
Campus: Classes in London take place at Foundation House, FIE's main headquarters and study center, located in South Kensington and just a 10 minute walk from the residence halls. Classes are taught by British faculty.
